Although the cause of the explosion has yet to be determined, several reports have suggested that it occurred in a laptop battery. The litigants who were present in the courtroom were asked to leave.

Vineet Jindal, the General Secretary of the North Delhi Lawyers Association, told that recent unfortunate events have created an atmosphere of fear in the courts. “Recent incidents in Delhi district courts have made litigants, advocates, and even judges fearful,” he said

The litigants who were present in the courtroom were asked to leave. Security lapses in district courts, according to Jindal, are a major source of concern for litigants and advocates. “Judges, advocates, and litigants who come to the court to seek justice need a safe environment,” he said.
