In case of Dr Prateek Rastogi & Ors Vs. National Board of Examination & Ors, The Supreme Court issued a notice today in a writ suit filed by 41 PG certified doctors contesting NEET SS 2021 exam pattern alterations that were made at the last minute. The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing for next Monday because further papers must be filed and served on the respondents.
The NEET SS 2021 exam will be held on November 13 and 14.

The division bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and BV Nagarathna heard the writ suit, which sought to overturn the amendments on the grounds of lack of power and being plainly arbitrary. The whole set of questions for the critical care super speciality will be derived from general medicine, according to the suggested pattern.
Mr Divan claimed that this throws students from other fields at a significant disadvantage. He said that the administration should not have made these modifications after the exam notification had been sent out and the students had started to study.
