A district judge of Rajasthan has been booked by the state police under POCSO Act for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy. He has been booked on the charges of repeatedly sodomizing, sexually assaulting and threatening his family members.
Jitendra Singh, a special judge, dealing with Prevention of Corruption Act cases, was put under suspension with immediate effect pending preliminary enquiry and the contemplated departmental inquiry. His headquarter was shifted to Jaipur during his suspension period.
The complaint was lodged by the victim’s mother, who alleged that Mr. Singh and two other people had been sexually assaulting her son for the last one month after intoxicating him with narcotic substance. The judge also threatened the boy that if he spoke about the assault to anyone his family would be implicated in false cases.
The Bharatpur Police has filed an FIR in the matter after the mother of the 14-year-old boy insisted. The mother of the victim said that his son met the Judge at a tennis court and they became friends, the judge lured him to his house, mixed intoxicants in his cold drink and when he fainted, he sexually abused the boy.
The Judge had also made an inappropriate video with the boy and threatened to show it to his friends if he spoke about the assault to anyone.
FIR has been registered against other two accused Anshul Soni, judge’s stenographer and Rahul Katara, a staff of anti-corruption court.
The FIR has been lodged at the Mathura Gate Police station under Section 377 (unnatural offences) of the IPC and some relevant sections of POCSO Act.
