At the valedictory session of the 30th batch of civil judges (junior division) of the Bihar Judicial Services, organised by the Bihar Judicial Academy here on Sunday, Justice MR Shah, Supreme Court Judge, said that judges should not count their leaves and should instead devote all of their time to serving the people, as there is no substitute for hard work.
As the chief guest, Justice MR Shah reminded the young officers that a good Judge must have honesty, integrity, impartiality, empathy, and complete dedication to their work. According to a communique issued by the district public relations officer in Patna on Sunday, he interacted with and met with 337 civil judges, motivating them to do their best for society.

Justice Rajan Gupta, a judge on the Patna High Court who also serves as the interim executive chairman of the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, warned the young officers that due process should not be jeopardised in the rush to reduce the number of cases pending. Due process of law, on the other hand, should be used to instil confidence in the general public.
Justice Ashwani Kumar Singh, chairman of the Bihar Judicial Academy and judge of the Patna High Court, urged the young judges to keep growing as people and not let their knowledge stagnate.
Justice Rajan Gupta, a judge on the Patna High Court who also serves as the interim executive chairman of the Bihar State Legal Services Authority, warned the young officers that in the rush to reduce the number of cases pending, due process should not be jeopardised. On the other hand, due process of law should be used to instil confidence in the general public.
Justice Ashwani Kumar Singh, chairman of the Bihar Judicial Academy and a judge on the Patna High Court, urged the young judges to continue to develop as people rather than stagnate in their knowledge.
The welcome address was given by Alok Kumar Pandey, director of the Bihar Judicial Academy, and a vote of thanks was proposed by Bharat Bhushan Bhasin, additional director of the academy.
