Sadhguru suggested the people who are supporting firecrackers ban to walk to their offices for 3 days as a sacrifice.
As the Diwali is around the corner, and the country is divided over burning firecrackers or not burning firecrackers, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, spiritual leader and founder of Isha foundation took the side of people who wish to burn firecrackers on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and opposed the blanket ban on firecrackers. He said that kids should experience the joy of Diwali.
“Concern about air pollution is not a reason to prevent kids from experiencing the joy of firecrackers.”

Sadhguru had posted a video on Twitter in which he expressed his idea of celebrating Diwali and how he used to celebrate Diwali as a kid.
The Supreme Court had kept aside a blanket ban on firecrackers, imposed by the Calcutta High Court in West Bengal. The Apex Court had said that certified green crackers can be sold and burst in areas where the air quality is “good” or “moderate”.
Sadhguru extended his wishes and greetings to everyone for Deepavali. “Lighting up in joy, love and consciousness is vital in times of crisis that could dump you in darkness. This Deepavali, light up your humanity to its full glory. Love and blessings.” he said.
Talking about the people, who are supporting the firecracker ban in the country, Sadhguru said “as your sacrifice for them, walk to your office for 3 days. Let the kids have the fun of bursting crackers.”
